1. Operations Manager

Job description

The role of Operations Manager will be to handle the production operations of our Frozen, Chilled and Ambient Food businesses, to efficiently manage the customized production requirements of all our customer accounts, being fully responsible for people, driving further efficiencies, improving the performance of operations, equipment and systems and ensuring that the customers get what they want when they want it! This role will challenge you as the business is fast moving, dynamic and demanding. You will be responsible for a team of operatives ensuring the product is produced, prepared and packed on time, but most importantly that it is done to the budgeted cost. It will suit you if you are currently working in a FMCG, food or fresh produce production environment, are an experienced and talented man manager and you are ambitious to progress. The ideal person for this role will have a background in the food industry within a production management environment, good understanding of handling freezing & retort based production, have excellent analytical and communication skills and be adept in developing strong customer relationships. Experience within the non-vegetarian category would be advantageous but other food product experience can be considered. This is a great job in a fast moving business for a talented and ambitious operations manager who wants to take their career to the next level. Salary level will depend on the experience and depth of understanding of production processes, and production management skills. Job Type: Full-time Salary: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year

2. Asst NPD Manager / NPD Development Technologist

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior NPD Development Technologist or Assistant NPD Manager to join our busy NPD team as Assistant NPD Manager and support NPD Managers. You will ideally be a Food science graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years experience within a Food manufacturing environment (Frozen / Ambient/ Chilled), currently working within a similar NPD / Product Development position and demonstrate a real passion for Food. We are seeking someone who has first-hand customer relationship management experience who strives to exceed customer expectations and who goes the extra mile. Communication skills are key as ability to present to clients is essential. Strong project management skills are essential as well as excellent organisation skills, time management and ability to multitask.

The responsibilities will include: ·

Line Cooks – Production Line

As a Line Cook you are responsible for the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities whereby your role will include key responsibilities as:

The responsibilities will include: ·

  • Support Production Chef in the daily operation and work according to the menu specifications
  • Follow the instructions and recommendations from Production Chef and Superiors to complete the daily tasks
  • Prepare the daily plan for ingredient preparation and food production in different sections of production
  • Check ingredient quality & quality before production, and Control food stock and food cost in your section 
  • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques 
  • Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the Company 
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections for requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control

Requirement:

  • At least 3 year of relevant working experience in the food industry in Hotel or Food Factory environment
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, methodical & a team player

QUALITY ASSURANCE EXECUTIVE

This person will be responsible for policy, strategy and testing methodology to meet regulatory authority and certification compliance in regard to the company’s products. They will also assist management in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at such standards

Responsibilities:

  • Develop all SOPs according to HACCP and other Quality Certification and regulatory requirements and organisation's policies, develop inspection and testing protocols for raw materials, finished products and food packaging, and sampling plans for quality control purposes. 
  • Maintain the corporate HACCP quality manual and quality records, ensure all check sheets are correctly completed and NCs addressed with corrective actions taken and signed off
  • Evaluate and ensure adequate quality control measures for raw materials, so as to provide timely feedback to suppliers for improvement, assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is consistently maintained at such standards 
  • Monitor and guide Online quality control officers, verify quality control (QC) records, test results and reports for regulatory authorities
  • Participate in quality management system reviews and promote quality and food safety policies, assist in product improvement sensory evaluation preparations when required, to enhance the quality of the products
  • Conduct QC inspection for customer feedbacks, resolve quality-related issues, 
  • Arrange, coordinate and participate in external quality audits, lead traceability investigations on the source of quality lapses and other product issues, evaluate process deviations, product defects and quality lapses, and oversee corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) implementation and documentation. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 5 year of relevant working experience in the food industry QA/QC/R&D environment
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated & methodical, Independent & a team player

ON-LINE QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER

The responsibilities of a Quality Control Officer include monitoring the quality aspects of incoming raw materials and the products that are ready to be shipped. They also need to ensure that manufactured products meet the specified quality standards set by the Company before being sent to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control checks for outgoing products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards in accordance to FSSAI regulations and Company policies
  • Perform sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality
  • Online monitoring of production process for all SOPs and CCPs as per HACCP and GMP
  • Prepare and maintain all quality related reports and records

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in the food industry QC/R&D environment
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated & methodical, Independent & a team player
